Stephen, The way we keep running into each other, really! We first met at Canoga High, and Criswell st was where you used to sing and play your guitar for me on my front lawn. You were one of my favorite friends. Then we met when I worked at Martin Lawrence Galleries at the Sherman Oaks Galleria. Later I took my daughter to Gymboree, where your now partner was the teacher and played guitar. I recognized you in a video playing at the Disney store, that hair and that wonderful smile, and knew you were doing well. Now many years later I decided to Google you, and here you are, still that hair and wonderful smile. As busy as you are, if you find this email and the time, I would love to hear from you. I have lived at 7,000 feet in the largest Ponderosa forest in the world in Flagstaff, Az for the last 16 years. I live with my husband of 29 years and my 24 year old daughter. My family still lives in Ca, in Fallbrook. I am so glad to see you are doing so well.

Since Steven Mitchell (my son) was a baby, we've been listening to and following Parachute Express, and well, that was 19 years ago in California at a little place called Gymboree! How far we've come since those days! Even though the kids are almost grown, I still pull out the PCE cds and tapes and pop them in. So my 12 year old now says in that teenage tone of voice, "Really, Mom?" I'm still a fan and will always be - and even the 12 year old gets a little High-Fiveous with me sometimes! Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you again soon.

Hello Stephen, Since our mutual days on Criswell St. in Canogo Park, I have always wondered how you did with your music, so looked for you this morning and voila! I always loved your songs, especially one about a lady of the evening. Please send our love and hellos to your folks. We are living in San Diego after a 20 year stint in Alaska.
Best to you and yours always.

I love your site! Your Disney 'cover' Album is magical. Only you can succeed with such a bold step of covering these classic children's songs. I am looking forward to listening to your Adult Songs Album.
Best!

Hi Stephen,
I have just found you on iTunes. Your music is amazing. Have you heard the Barry Manilow version of 'Merry Christmas Wherever You Are'? He sang it in the UK in 1984. The only time I ever heard the song until I just bought your version on iTunes. I do not know who wrote it. I am going to buy your music from now on! How about an album of standards - including 'Here There and Everywhere' and 'Here's that Rainy Day? You would make them sound so good!
Thanks and all the best from the UK,
Jim Nixon
